In car sat nav

Hey guys,
My friend has a vw toureg and i have a vw passat (2006) i was just wondering if the touregs satnav/cd would work in my passat and vice verca?

*Bump* anyone please help as im in a bit of a dilemma. my local vw garage is closed due to some fools on a strike i would really appreciate help.

cant see why not as long as they are both dvd based sat nav just pop it in and try its not going to perm damage it or anything it will either work or not

The Tourag may be the CD system not DVD.
