Does anyone know if the bolts for steel wheels are the same as bolts for standard GTI alloys???

Bump!! I need the answer to this as well, or more specifically, will mk 4 GTi alloys fit a mk 4 TDi s?

Unsure of the answer myself, but perhaps a quick call to a VW parts dept might get you an answer.

GTi wheels will fit a TDi no problem. As for the wheel bolts I believe they are the same but I would check with the dealer first!

what was the outcome ? did you buy new bolts or use old ? please let me know if poss as i have similar problem, cheers

I used the old bolts and bought a set of locking bolts for £8 off ebay.

cheers thanks for replying i've bought some locking nuts so just about sorted now.
