My a4 Tdi (1997) - has a leaking rear shock which needs replaced, as a pair.
I got a quote for 2 standard shocks from local motor factor - £250.
This seems really pricey to me, does that seem right? Any suggestions on where I can get some would be much appreciated.
ps. I'm not keen on lowering it :biglaugh:

I just did a quick scan and you can get a rear gas refill for approx £50 and if you need to replace the outer of the strut another £40 (they do rust a little)
So i can see where they get £250 from but seems little high.

hmm , any idea where you can get this done? I'd imagine the seals are all burst which is why it's spewing oil?
