Inner RH Driveshaft Boot

Hi all,
I have a 1996 Passat Tdi (Engine code: 1Z) and need to replace the inner RH drive shaft boot. The Haynes manual says to get the dealer to do it, and I have had no luck finding any info on this forum. Is this possible to do myself or should I take it in to a garage? I am fairly experienced mechanically and usually do all my own work(with the help of Mr Haynes). If it is possible to do could you give me some idea of the procedure.

Hi There is no real big problem replacing the boot, it goes without saying, you must remove the driive shaft,the drive shaft can be removed without having to drop the lower link arms,if you send your e-mail address i will send you the how to do it
