2000 A4 1.6 AHL Mass airflow

:1zhelp:Hi all, My A4 has a problem starting when it's hot, it will start then revs drop and then it stops. If you press the acelerator it's fine until you take you foot off then it dies, but if you drive off straight away it runs fine no problems at all. I've checked and replaced most of the breathers as vac hoses as they were cracking. I've checked the fault codes and it's got 16486 Mass airflow sensor G70 signal too low P0102-35-10 Intermittent. Does it just need a clean or is it something else ? Also when I bought the car it battery was flat, does this mean the Throttle body needs resetting ?

That code can be a result of a split breather as the engine takes in air outside of the AMM. Remove, clean and reset the throttle body and take it from there.
