Help Please! Passat Tdi advice needed

I am looking to buy a Passat TDI 130 Sport 6 speed saloon!

I have been looking for one that a neighbour is selling : 03 plate for 4200pounds 3 owners I will be the fourth 92k FVWSH up to 78k that price was my final offer wich he accepted after been selling for the original price of 4500Pounds !

The car is standard no mods really clean body scrath free and i test it and the turbo pulls very well gears all seem fine and suspension as well because my A4 is a trouble suspension in the front I alredy changed almost all the front suspension!

Is that to much is it worth it ?

My main question is that as anyone had previous problems with this Cars engine, gearbox etc?

Does it have any common faults?

tdi 130 pretty good,shouldn't see much trouble with it.
as regards price their are a lot of passats out there and you should be able to guage by others you have looked at.
the full service history up to 78k won't mean a thing if it hasn't been serviced in the past
14k,and you need to know when the cambelt was changed last.

Cambelt and tensioners changed at 62k in june 06 as fsh just had 12months Mot the owner has receipts after the 78k on normal garage!
