Could anyone tell me if it is possible to get a induction kit for the Audi A3 S-Line Diesel 2.0 Turbo, all i seem to be able to find is one for a 1.9TDi 130BHP......??????????????? :1zhelp:

from reading stuff on here i dont think air filters do anything for diesel engines? i may be wrong?

In an otherwise stock TDI engine a "hi-flow" air filter will not do anything. A diesel will always compress air only and the fuel is then injected into the compressed air. The high pressure air is so hot that the fuel is ignited instantly as it hits the air, which makes the prominent knocking noise in diesel engines. In other words, a diesel will always run lean and adding more air will not do anything to an already air-rich system.

Besides, K&N and such oiled filters will only mess up your MAF.

If you're unable to source one, you could simply fashion one out of an old toilet roll tube, using some PVA and stocking material, blue peter style :approve:
