V-Power Diesel

Picked up my S-Line avant 3.0 tdi Saturday and can say I am truly impressed!

Excellent build quality, but not let the engine rip yet due to run-in recommendations in handbook.

Has anyone had experience of Shell v-power diesel? Does it make any difference to fuel economy or performance? I suspect an ECU re-map may be money better spent.

I tried BP's performance diesel (think they call it optimax) a few times in my last car (A3 2.0tdi) couldn't see any change in performance or number of miles between fill ups - haven't tried it again since

very jelous of that 3.0 - i'm was too used to auto's to go for it - so had to settle for the 2.7 which feels quick rather than fast ...
