Hi,

As the sun was shining for a "bit", i decided to get out cleaning the cars seen as though they have not had a "proper" clean for a while..

I used a Maguires Clay bar and wax on the A4.. I only spent around an hour with the clay bar and wax as it stated raining and i wanted to finish quick!

Hopefully i will be able to spend a bit more time next weekend if the weather is good!!

Rick, they look superb. The dash in the A4 looks so much nicer than the Passat, and I know you have swapped the wheels but they do fill the arches too, I shudda bought an A4.

House looks nice too, I love the Yorkshire [style] brick and am dead envious of the double garage :beerchug:

We bought our house 11 years ago and me an Mrs QV always said before that, that if we bought another house it would have a double garage and a through hall, we got neither! The house across the road was about £105,000 to our £87,000 back then and we could not quite afford it, it has all the features we wanted plus more bedrooms than you could shake a stick at. Well now the proce difference is about £120,000. Serves us jolly well right, though they have a massive conservatory (where ours is only 12'x10' and an extension).

I use this as well, but i must admit that the results aren't usually that good. maybe its because the car is Silver and doesn't reflect things as well as a darker shade! (thats my excuse anyway).

How often do you use it? I usually give it the once over every 3-4 months
