How to reset service indicator - Skoda Octavia 2.0L Diesel 2005

I have just got my first Skoda and would like to service it myself. It is a Octavia Elegence 2.0L Diesel 2005 model. I have all the bits for an oil change but need to reset the service indicator.

It is I believe a Variable service interval vehicle.

Is there a button sequence or do I need a reset tool.

Is it OBD2 compatible as I see on Ebay reset tools at about £15.

Try This
1) Switch off ignition
2) Press and hold the trip reset button
3) Switch the ignition on and release trip reset button.
4) Turn trip reset button to the right, service indicator is now reset.
