On the back of the EOS boot lid is a panel that requires to be removed if you wish access to the Radio Aerials. The panel is held on with plastic push in clips. Does anyone know how to remove these clips correctly, so that they can be replaced later ?

Get yourself some 'Bojo' trim tools ;)

Good suggestion Jam Man, but do you know if there is a plastic pin that needs to be pushed out via the small circular hole in the middle of the clips that hold the boot lid panel in place i.e. do I need to do this before attempting to pull the clips out.

That's pretty much it, yes.

The central pin pushes through the outer pin which makes it wider and holds it in place.

If you can pull the central pin out then the outer pin will follow relatively easily.
