Curious to know the cost of these..............anyone?

Also, whilst I also think they look very cool, the fact that I will never see them in action myself would suggest that not buying them is the best option ;)

I´m afraid they´re just a combination of led lights for position and braking and the rest are ordinary bulbs, not fully led technology for our a4´s at the moment...cheers

Sorry, no info unfortunately, I think the dealer was waiting for me to order a set and then would sort out any problems if they materialised. I have not plucked up the courage to fork out for these as yet, other priorities at the moment.

Don't forget, that for the installation you should have the special jumpers for DIOD lights. here The numbers:

Jumper #1: 3B0972705 (2 pcs.)
Jumper #2: 8K0973703E (2 pcs.)

We have some troubles with programming of the comfort block, but we plan to fix this in a short time:)

Hello,

as i see on your pictures, - you have the same problem with lamp, that is lighting.

But on the pictures i don't see any problems with Car Computer. Am i right understand, that the car says OK about updated tail lights ?

For ex., mu car pc tell me, that the tail lights are broken. What about yours ?

FIRST OF ALL THE BORNET IT IS LOCATED ON THE RIGHT SIDE IN THE TRUNK
YOU DO NOT NEED TO CUT ANY WIRE ON THE LAMPS ALL THE MODIFICATION ARE MADE ON THE RIGHT SIDE AT THE BORNET

OK, STARTING WITH LEFT HAND SIDE
on the brown soket you have a gray/black wire , that is the wire that you have to cut and to conect the lamp side to gray/white wire and the bornet side to a 6r8 20w resistor, wired to ground

RIGHT HAND SIDE
on the black soket you have a gray wire , that is the wire that you have to cut and to conect the lamp side to gray/blue wire from the brown soket and the bornet side to a 6r8 20w resistor, wired to ground
ANY MORE QUESTIONS?

I am excited that i am do everything right. Could i ask you about some fotos to make shure that i do everything right ?

If you need, i can make a foto of my wire installation on all led lights ?

Ugu...ok.

I has talk today with our local Audi dealer. They told me, that when service period on 15 000 km been come, you bring the car to dealer for service and after full pc car scan and verification base reference data with audi.de, the scan machine may find this resistors and it show the mistake in list of scaning.

How do you think, is this scan procedure may find this resistors or not ?

My dear friend I am working in this business for 5 years , if you know the resistor 6r8 20w it is exactly like the 21w bulb so the car it is not "see"the difference.
I scan the car after the change of the lamps and it is no error

Ugu, ok, understand. Ok, glad to hear that it's work. With fotos i hope to see how this resistor look's like, - i gonna to find the same here :)

One more question: as i seen on your fotos, the antimist lights are lighting up, as on my car. How do you plan to fix this problem ? Mayby just remove this lamp and that's it ? :)

if you want to cancel that fog rear light you have to put one more set of resistors , but you better wait for new info about coding of that computer.
There is more thinks that will be availeble soon
leave those fog lights like that for the moment

Ok. i will be wait for more information soon.

One more little question: when you put the brake pedal, only left and right led lamp are turning on ? Rear light have the same type of lighting ?

When i put brake pedal, there is only left and right diod lamps are lighting higher. The rear light have the same light.

I has check today the wires. There is the same connections as yours :) Glad to hear, that we have the same colors of wire :))))

This fog light don't trouble me :) . On my side, i am trying to get the VIN number of S4 car for compareing the original A4 code for 46 block and S4 code for the same block.

When i put the brake padal, only left and right lamp are lighting higher. On your car is the same situation? :Blush2:

gray/white wire it is the parking light and the brake light from the left side and the gray/black is the center left parking and brake so
cut the gray/black from brown soket at 5 cm. long from the soket and the lamp side put togheder with gray/white wire and the soket side to that resistor.

the same think to right side but with the wires witch I told you

Yes, I check the colors and are the same like in my car , so
on the right side open the cover and you will see a electronic module with 4 plugs
you have to work with brown and black plugs, the square ones
on the brown soket you have a gray/black wire , that is the wire that you have to cut and to conect the lamp side to gray/white wire and the module side to a 6r8 20w resistor, wired to ground

on the black soket you have a gray wire , that is the wire that you have to cut and to conect the lamp side to gray/blue wire from the brown soket and the module side to a 6r8 20w resistor, wired to ground
it is clear now?

:))) Gooood :))) our dealer just thinking how to install the lamps, but you and - already - me (with your help), know how it gonna work :))))

One little question regarding upside pic with your comments:

As i know, the left brake lamp and right brake lamp has the same wire colors. (LEFT: 1-gray-white, 2-brown, 3-gray blue, RIGHT: 3-gray-white, 2-brown, 1-gray blue)

On your scheme, form left side you are use the GRAY-WHITE wire, but from the RIGHT side you use the different wire: GRAY-BLUE.

Is there is ok ? :)

Dear friend,

today i has install all diods lamps based on your advise and technical comments :)) Thank you very much for your time :)

I very happy to see, when i breaking the break pedal, - all diod lamps are ligting :)) Off course - i didn't see this effect, but i know that they are all lighting, like on others audi cars with diod lamps :) (AllRoad, S5 etc.)

Bytheway, i fix the problems with fog laps: they are not lighting all time like before :))) Do you know how i fix thet problem ??? :))

You don't belive - you are again help me in this :) I has install resistor into fog wire inseries connection: wire---resistor---wire

because i didn't know what kind of resistor am i need to use for a fog lamp, i has bye the full series of those 20wt resistor, begin from 0,1 Ohm and continue to 5,6 Ohm. There are was near 8 type of those resistor :)
We are has checked all of them, and only 5,6Ohm 20Wt go very well: the FOG lamp are not lighting when the car is turning on.

When we connect those resistor (5,6 Ohm 20Wt) to one of the fog lamp, we push the key to 2 time (full, without start engine) the fog lamp did not lughting, but when we are push the fog button, - the button has blink. We has decide, that our Idea with resistor insert are fault. I sad, - OK, put all resistor to all fog wires, i don't need this fog lamp, - a want to see the diods.

When we install resistors into both fog wire and i run the engine, -Wuualllya...I has put the fog lump again, an mirracle - the fog lamp are turning ON :))) Iiittssss...wooorkkkk :))))

I was very happy :)

We has chack the full system - no one problem we has not find :) Everything is work :)))

Kufatec has a OBD doggle that activates the LED lights function. Does anyone know what codes it has changed? Can we use VAGCOM to set this?

Hi All,

I had a look at the pictures of the LED Back Lights posted, and compared them to the non-LED Back Lights on my A4 (at night), and I actually like the non-LED Back Lights.

I think it is personal preference, but I am happy with the simple, elegant look of the non-LED back lights. The LED back lights are too much in your face.

Got a set from Kufatec and fitted. Nice and easy to fit and they look quality!!!:beerchug: Dongle light is supposed to go out when the coding is finished (remove error codes) but after 2 hours it was still lit, so I pulled it out and luckily no issues!!

Admit I’m very tempted by this mod, just wondered if anyone has to recode using VAG.COM or do they rely on the resistor work around?
When the car goes back to the dealers for service etc, will their all knowing computer realise that the car has been modified by the dongle and reinstall the generic software, if so can the dongle be used again or is it a one shot affair.
If it can be used is there anyone that would be willing for a fee to loan out the dongle allowing others to purchase the lights only using the part numbers posted earlier in this thread?

Audi A4 2.0T, Lava Grey, Piano black inserts, S Line Executive, Heated front seats, Bang & Olufsen, Telephone prep low, Parking Plus, Hill hold assist, Cruise control, Interior light package, Folding mirrors.

Dongle says it is a one time use. Time will tell what happens when it goes to the dealer! I have not had to use VAG COM but wonder if the coding could be done soley by this, I am sure it could!

Hi, I've just bought 100% OEM LED Tail lights from BKS Tuning they come with a Audi CD instructions to retro fit them, I'm taking my car to a VAG garage to
have the car programmed, the CD Instructions state once fitted you require a VAS 5010 diagnostic machine, and enter code 05060 into the SVM, I'll let you know if it all goes well, fitments this Friday!..i hope it does because these lights and harnesses cost me 400 smachers...I have a 3.0TDI Quattro SE 2008
