vag com lead

I'm looking to purchase a vcds lead to coonect my car to my laptop, i been looking i know they are around £10/£15 can anyone tell me where to buy one that will work, i have heard of dodgy ones that don't.

If anyone is selling then pls give me details and if poss can i pick it up, thanks:1zhelp:

the lead i have works fine with my A4, but would not work with my friend's 8N TT. we tried everything to get it to work.

he has since bought a canbus lead and it works nicely.

im not saying that a cheap cable definitely wont work, but it is something to be aware of. :)

where can i get one from in Manchester ?

I am using a VAG COM USB cable with the VAG COM software 409.1 on my TT year 2000, it is working fine. I bought it on ebay.
If you have problem with the cable configuration on your computer just let me know.
