Brakes/Discs

I was wondering, how much would I be looking at for new discs/pads all round on a Golf GTI? Just the standard fare for a GTI, nothing crazy...

well i jus paid £112 for front discs an pads on mine guessin the rears would b a bit cheaper as they r abit smaller.

Brilliant, sounds reasonable. I'll get a mechanic mate to fit mine and pay for his time :D Dealership quoted silly money so they can go **** themselves ;)

no that was includin vat an fitting. got them in done at a garage called ACE in great yarmouth. vw dealer quoted me £190 + vat.

id try a motor factors. most people are afraid of stepping into these sort of places for fear of being asked something to technical. I work for a factors and id estimate ud pay about 80-90 plus vat. I wouldnt dream of going near a dealer, who, with my inside knowledge, do even fit aftermarket parts anyway. Youll get a better service and probably less hassle getttin them from a factors;)
