170TDi looks a real winner, esp. vs 160 petrol - more power, more torques, more mph, more mpg, less carbons, less tax.

Just costs a bit more :D

im gutted, when i ordered my 2.0 tdi 143 (april 08) dealer didnt know when they would launch the 170 could be end of the year. now i see avaliable to order soon!

Me too! still the 170 ia a grand dearer, worse mpg, dearer insurance and ??? can't think of anything else!!:zx11: The 143 is still a lovely motor with a fair bit of pull, go for the 3.0Tdi if performance is the absolute priority!!

Must admit I am now going to hold off ordering mine until September when the 170 TDi is available, just have to work out which option go to make way for the bigger engine:D
