AUDI A6 2.5tdi ignition problem

Hi there ... Could anyone advise what can cause an ignition problem? I just bought an A6 2.5tdi 2000 model, and there is a major problem with its ignition. The symptomes are the following... in the mornings it starts well, with almost no problem. But once you leave it OFF for 3-4 hours afterwards its starts very difficult, sometimes it takes up to a minute to start the car. I changed all the 6 spirals which heat the diesel, but still it does not help it. ANybody came across with this problem?
Unfortunately the location of the car is such that there are no Audi service centres, and the private ones cannot understand the problem.

Well it could be associated with the coolant temperature sender.
Cheap and easy to replace.
