reds - brilliant vs misano

how close to misano red is brilliant red. ? i have only seen pics of misano. i wont be able to have misano as i will be buying SE. not sure if i like brilliant red or not yet. is it the same shade / hue as the B7's as there are a couple on my dealers forecourt in red. no B8's in red around here for me to look at though. thanks

From 50 feet away, in direct sunlight, you won't be able to tell the 2 colors apart even if they are next to each other. I know this because I went to the dealer and parked a Misano A3 right beside a Brilliant Red B7 A4, and the difference is subtle.

At night under flourescent lighting is a different story. Misano has some orange/copper metallic pearl to it that shows up mostly in the highlights. Overall, this tends to give it a warmer red color. Brilliant Red is your standard (flat, non-metallic) red. It's also cheaper.
