Having read on here a few weeks ago about the new 2.0 TDI Engine, I noticed that my car has this.

If you are unsure about yours then you can check on here.

I have the old engine, but because I went for the Multitronic Auto with the 2.0TDi, there is no change with Co2 emissions even if you had the new lower emission engine with the Multitronic.

Richard: I have a lease too, but the link simple asks for the reg and make, then you get the info on your car come up.

If you open the Service book you will see a sticker with a number of codes etc.

The last number will be either 144/139 - this relates to the same.

The same sticker is next to the space for the spare wheel.

Hope this helps guys!

It´s actualy not the engine that is changed, but rather the gearbox thats why there is no change on the multitronic editions

Does anyone know what the actual difference is then ?

Depends on your country tax and so on, in norway its about £400 cheaper to register but møller that sells audi cars has added the difference to the sale price so no change there :P

But if you import the car from lets say sweden you will get it about 300-400£ cheaper then the 144 modell :)
