Hello

I have a 2000 tdi leon and it is presenting 2 faults

1. Leaking footwells from water appearing to come from the front between the footwell and the engine esp when I park with the bonnet lower than the boot

2. Loss of uphill acceleration even with foot to the floor - highly embarrassing!!

I am sorry I don't know the techincal terms but if anyone could see through my ignorance of cars etc then I would be eternally gratefully

Many thanks

Uphill acceleration problem is caused by a faulty air mass meter. Had the same problem on my Mk1 110TDi. Replacement is only solution

Water leaks into the footwell is a well known problem with Mk1 Leons. Dealear should be able to advise a cure
