Suspension Bushes

Morning everybody. Does anybody know how to check the top suspension bushes for wear as the damper/spring seems to disappear to the top of the chassis but obviously it has to pivot. Is it an easy job to check and has anybody taken one off or knows or a link on this site to a removal walkthrough?

Hi Mitch,
If you lift the vehicle and then pull up on the bottom of the front wheels, the shock shouldn;t move that much, if it does then the top shock mounts are worn to excess. They are not that bad to change although you will need to remove the shocks and compress the springs.
