just joined, Looked for you last yr when my car first had problems. But could not find you, Found info required in the Ford Galaxy owners club. Yes I know, But not my fault, They use the same engine.
I have a 53 Plate VW Passatt Estate 1.9 TDi 4 Motion silver blue with chrome roof bars. 115000 on the clock now. Minor hickup shortly after getting it, well several months really, alarm fault, local dealer fixed it while I waited, most impressed.
Start of yr had the alternator pulley go on me, Now Turbo problem, looking through the forums for help as we speak, well as you read anyway.
Overall I have been happy with the car, To me it is transport, It gets me to where I need to go, Only failed in that once, and that was coming home, partly my fault, I put off replacing the pulley. It was cold after all in Feb.
Hope to around for some time, Dont know if the wife has other ideas though.
