How do I properly get power to the dash?

I want to mount my speed camera device on the windscreen. It currently comes with a power cord but I want to wire in a hidden solution that comes up through the dash, has anyone doe this?

Hi Nick,

Where abouts on the windscreen are you wanting it? If it is on the right hand side next to the A-Pillar then you can run the cable across to the point where the A-Pillar meets the dash and then in behind the fuse box. Makes for easy access to power!
If you want it in the middle of the windscreen then you will need to go to the front of the dash at the windscreen and either run it along the dash to the A-Pillar or go straight down and into behind the stereo. Personally I think that the first option is neater and easier.

I am doing exactly the same and have the power lead in position. How do I connect in via the fuse box?
