A4 Sunglasses / CD Storage

Hi all,

I'm a newbie on this forum - having to swap my 350z for and A4 due to impending child addition to the family.

Looking at either 2.0 TDI (140 or 170) or 2.0 T-FSI.

Test drove the 170 and liked it but afterwards thought - where do I put my CD's or Sunglasses?

Surely my 350z cannot have more storage ??

My old Mondeo had heaps of storage compared to the A4s.

Have a look on here for the underseat and armrest storage options.

The CD's could go under the steering wheel on the small shelf there.

I've just swapped the 350z for the 170 and I'm affraid that I must agree that storage is poor in the Audi, perhaps the always efficient German has streamlined the amount of crap he needs to keep in his car. I'm having the armrest retrofitted to mine as this will also add a bit more storage. A Good CD solution is to get rid of them and add iPod or keep a number of memory cards in the car if you get the model with DVD sat nav.

I have one of those cd wallet things; takes about 40 cds and fits perfectly (with a bit of a shove) in the top of the glove box on the left (mine has the symphony so does not have a cd changer in the glove box - the handbook goes in that slot).

Sunglasses under the drivers seat. CD's? Who still uses them?!

Thanks everyone - I'll try and get one with an armrest at least and look at the iPod option too!
