I was given the 14th of July as a delivery date for my new A4 - Called today and they will deliver it to me on Monday the 30th of June...

After a very busy few days with budgets and the pressures of work, the received call was a refreshing change.

Can't wait - Ye - Ha.

Mine is at the dealers and being PDI'd but because of Leaseplan rules, I can't have it until 18 July (when the old car expires) :aargh4:

With your lease plan is it on milage also... a lot of the time they are 3-4 year or 80k miles.... if thats the case get out and do some miles!!

There is a mileage limit (75K) but that doesn't trigger early end of contract; my company just pay excess charge. Car is on 95K and would have gone back 10 months ago if that was the case. Never mind; I'll just sit here twiddling my thumbs.

To be honest, my Golf has been a revelation. It was a downsize and I really didn't expect it to be so damned good. There is nothing I can criticise about it. I've taken a gamble going for an Audi (especially as my private cars have always been Beemers). I would have had another Golf but a brand new car (B8) is too tempting.

I ordered last week April/first week May and I have just heard that my delivery date is last week in July/first week in August. So a while longer for me yet.

just took delivery of my car at work ... bloody fantastic that's all I can say ... had a quick spin around the block and the admiring looks I got from other drivers ... brilliant. I'll post some pics at the weekend :D:D:D
