312mm brakes wanted

Hi,

i'm after a front set of 312mm discs and capilers with carriers,full set really,pads would be good also but i can get these if not.
i have a 97 passat but its running getting on for 280bhp so need to upgrade my brakes.
Can anyone help?? some kicking about in your shed maybe

If you try Euro car parts, they do ATE (OEM) 312mm front brake discs for 30 quid + VAT each, pads are about 15-30 pounds and caliper carriers are about 100 from GSF or Vag Parts. Scour the breakers yards for audi tt caliper carriers if you want them cheaper. If you have a b5 passat, look at your front calipers, if its says Lucas on the side, then you will need calipers as well, if it says ATE, then your calipers will be ok.

I have a pair of brand new 312mm vented discs which I bought for my w8.they were the wrong ones,but I never got round to sending them back.Had to get them fromthe dealers in the end 334mm.£185 each !!!!!
Think I paid about £70 the pair,make me an offer !! MAC

I assume they are 5 stud?? and does the pcd matter or not with discs??
