Seat Ibiza TDI MK3

Hi all,

I recently purchased a Ibiza TDI MK3, and I'm not impressed with its fuel economy. I do mainly motorway driving I would say 70%.

I'm getting around 300 miles of 33 litres. This to me sounds like a 40mpg rather than a 55mpg. It currently needs servicing but I have my doubts whether I will get an extra 15mpg out of it. I would be happy with 50.

Any one any ideas ?

It needs servicing but you are holding back because it isn't economic enough????

That engine in a passat gives 55mpg motorway no problem.

Spend some money looking after it!
