I have a 1996 A4 2.6 V6 Petrol Quattro, which has just developed a cold start problem.
When warm it starts first time every time & runs perfectly, but when left for a couple of hours takes ages to start & feels as though it's struggling to get the fuel through?
It now doesn't go into a fast idle from cold & goes straight to it's normal running temp rev's 800rpm and won't throttle properly for a minute or so,
clears itself & runs perfectly
I've had 2 suggestions so far, change the fuel filter, or it could be a temp sensor that is faulty
Any Ideas?
