My 1998 Transporter 1.9 tdi is using a large amount of fuel (I know diesel has gone up, but my arithmetic is still OK). I've checked the inlet manifold pressure and the best it can achieve is around 7 psi. Is this the right sort of pressure expected. (I've sorted out the EGR valve as well by blocking it off) Does anyone know where I can find data relating to manifold pressures or am I looking in the wrong direction?:confused:
