How Do Folk? I think I've asked this before but I can't remember...
The CD player in my Toledo 2002 TDI SE has been acting up for the last year or so, It goes through phases of freezing and skipping as if theres scratches on the disc but it does it as well with the CD Changer and the radio. There are times that it goes very quiet or even mute despite the volume being turned to maximum. I've pulled it out and checked all the wiring but it still acts odd.
I have a Clarion Head unit knocking about at home, which I'll stick in if it gets worse, but I'm not in a mad rush to change the unit because I don't want to looses the CD changer in the glovebox. I don't think the CD Changer is compatable with any other headunits than the Seat Aura one. Does anyone know if this is true.
