On my way home tonite i opened the boot to put a bag in and when i went to shut it the electric locking mechanism wont engage at all??
I tried a number times to slam it but it just bounces and sits ajar...
The dis is showing the boot as being open and courtesy light stiil on ...
When i tried to lock the carthe central locking will only lock the doors and the alarm does not arm itself now ??
I then thought maybe it was a fuse that had blown for tailgate but checked them and they were all fine...
My only option was to then phone the ******** and they are picking the car up for me in the morning as a matter of urgency as i cant secure the car...
The Audi service guy reckons the boot mechanism has gone ...
Anyone else had a similar problem ??
