Is there a 2.0T on the cards? 1.8 seems a bit on the slow side and not sure if I can go over to a diesel! Luckily I have time to wait as I don't need a car until December time!

This link was in the thread "2009 model year update" -I think that it answers your question.

Asked my local dealer the same question, the A5 is due to be launched with 2.0TFSI end of this month and whilst he has no confirmation, expects the A4 to follow shortly.

2.0TFSI just popped up on my lease (company car) quote/order page but evidently quotes /orders aren't being taken until Monday.

The list also shows a 2.0TDI listed as opposed to 2.0 TDI 143. Not sure if this is the 170BHP version as can't access any more details.

I'll update this on Monday if I find out any more.

I think that the 2.0TDI is the 120bhp which can now be ordered.

just spoke to my local dealer who confirmed that the 2.0t can be ordered now, 2.0t s line basic price is £27.125, a premium of £2375 over base spec 1.8t, i know your getting quite a bit more performance and 40 bhp but the 1.8t has some great revues, i don't know if i could justify spending the extra.

Having recently traded in my A3 Sportback 2.0T FSI Quattro S-Line for an A6 Avant 2.0T FSI S-Line due to space requirements this is music to my ears. I've found the drop in power from the 200PS of the lighter A3 to the 170 PS of the heavier A6 is a bit too much for my liking.

As soon as my year-and-a-half twins are out of the buggy it looks like a trip to the Audi dealer and a new A4 Avant 2.0T FSI S-Line for me.

Unless the new Q5 gets rave reviews that is.

Finally up on the configurator. Can't select 19" wheels though.....what's that about?

The configurator has improved slightly recently. For example the image updates now with different wheels, black/silver sticthing on seats and silver/black dash inserts...... but its rubbish in other areas, such as Eletric folding mirrors cost £0 yet electric adjustment costs £150 so thats the wrong way around,
