I've been having probems with my 1997 (P) a4 1.8 not reaching operating temp. I bought a new thermostat from audi with the sealing ring but when i looked underneath the car one of the housing bolts is half covered by what appears to be the waterpump housing, couldn't even get a socket on there. Just wondering if anyone had any tips as the haynes manual shows both bolts being easily accesible!!
