My 2003 plate A4 Avant 1.9 TDi hasdeveloped a problem.
The car stopped central locking, with both sets of keys, and so I followed the instructions in the user guide to re-programme them. That seemed to work OK but, when I returned to use the car a few hours later, the key(s) had both stopped working again. Also, the alarm also now starts going off intermittently, for now apparent reason, and when I open the drivers door and start the ignition to stop this, the interior lights (and the red hand-brake lamp on the dashboard) continue to flash on and off).
I've recently had the car serviced (with new cam-belt and two new tyres) so I'm hoping this won't mean yet another expensive trip to the dealer?
