Would it be an absolutely crazy decision to go for a gti 1.8T when i currently have a GT TDi 130? I mean fuel comsumption wise, Handeling wise. What is the average fuel consumption figures for a GTi?? Or even better, Is there anyone out there who has had the experience???

Yes...CRAZY. If you spend a little on the TDi you could make it handle like the GTi and with a gentle remap up to 160 BHP it will perform well too! And still return 45mpg!
