View Full Version : a6 1.8t wont start

hi every one. i have my audi a6 only 4 weeks and first big problem is here. one morning the car simply did not want to start. it acts like immobiliser is still active. after 105k miles oil service light came on. as i was browsing an ebay i have found a one pound advice how to cancel it. so i did. and after 2 days i can not start it at all. any ideas? may it be my fault? i'm gutted:aargh4: :aargh4:

its not related to reseting the oil light.... however.... HOW DID YOUR RESET IT?? do you just do it via the cluster i guess?? you didnt do it via VAG-COM did you>?>

Have you sorted the issue?

Not sorted yet. i'm working from 7 to 7 so too dark for doing something. And i dont wanna call and pay audi after 4 weeks of driving the car.

i did reset it by presing and puling clock and milage reset buttons with ignition on and off in certain order as i was told.

I checked oil, petrol and spark plugs (ONE OF THEM IS SITING IN THE ENGINE OIL but still has spark).

wednesday i go for 2 weeks holliday so will leave the car how it is.
