ok, some non vw wheels are fitted to my 99 passat, i noticed yesterday that they have rubbed holes through the arch liner on full lock, havent really tested it fully but i have had some new tyres fitted and that seems to be the problem as the holes look very new and the one side is worse than the other
195/65/15 as they were before but gone from continental to falken with rim protect, not sure if they stick out further than they did before, but i am thinking that the alloys may be a different offset to what they should be :aargh4:in which case i'd need a spacer for about 10mm to clear the liner on full lock, bit annoying, anyone had this problem with fitting bigger alloys 18's etc. worried cos it looks damn close to the intercooler too!! will get a pic up later
