we have a t5 2003, 60000 miles, regulerly serviced (as per dealer guide) transporter. This is what the owner said happened
Going down the motor way the oil light came on and stayed on, drove for another mile and then sufferd a lack of power.
At this point the AA were called and checked it over. Plenty of oil, light out engine running but noisey on the top end. Recovered back to us.
Engine starts fine runs OK
On looking over the van the noise resembles a rattle like a cam chain or a clapsed tensioner, not a rithmick tap like adjusters. Has anybody herd of this as problem with the t5. :1zhelp:
