First time on forum so wonder if anyone could offer advice. Have around 17k for this car. Have driven the 3.0 litre and 2.5 diesel clearly different and both appealing in their own way. The diesel had 63k miles but full SH, should I be worried about the mileage. i know big service is on the horizon. What about the 1.8T, is this underpowered for the car? Is the 2.4 a comprimise which offers little more? Help

I would go for the diesel as its more value for money and at 180Hp its not slouch either. A Good remap will take the power to over 210-220 and increase the torque 10% minimum. The insurance will be less than the petrol and who knows what's under the bonnet ?
