Just bought my first VW. Sold my EVO 5 on Tuesday night and bought a Golf GT TDI 150 on Wednesday. Looking forward to some proper MPG ;) and only one service per year.

Thanks guys. I do miss the power on the EVO but the little golf is no slouch and build quality seems to be in a different league. No annoying clunks or rattles. The stereo doesn't work at moment so i'd hear them if they were there. New standard stereo being sourced (don't like to give the thieves any more reasons to break in :p).
