T4 multivans

Hi all,
looking to buy the above for use in spain specifically!(lhd)
been looking around and since at present i know very little about the different engine types and require something rugged for hills and distance iam asking for advise on engine type.
seen alot of diesels on offer but how does this compare to the TDi and petrol T4's.
Help!!!

I've had my 2.0 litre T4 minibus for 8 years and it now has over a quarter of a million miles on the clock. The most expensive job in the time i've owned it has been one petrol pump.These are excelent reliable vehicles any are good, avoid the auto box models as these can and do play up.
