hi all
just put a second hand box(ehv) in my 1999 18t passat and just woundered if there was a alternative gear oil rather than using genuine vw oil.
local vw garage has none in stock and are quoting two - three days to get it in and i would like the car on the road asap.
unipart do a 75/90 synthetic gear oil which should be ok.
please advise.
