LT46 engine swap??

Hi all,
First post :nervous: newbie in need of a bit of help...

I have a 2003 LT46 2.5 tdi which unfortunatly enough has just blown its engine :zx11:
I cant seem to find a direct replacement anywhere!
Allthough i have found a 2005 LT35 2.5 tdi with a different engine code.
my lt46 engine code is ANJ
donor LT35 engine code is DBF
both 2.5 tdi's,can anyone tell me if it may be suitable?
or any other engine codes that may be interchangeable

Hi There is no DBF engine but there is a BBF,to say if an engine is suitable is very difficult,there is always the possibility that the wiring harness is not the same.

Yeah Wireing harness differences would be a big problem...may just have to hang on for the right engine to pop up...

Hi

This can be done, and it is not that big a problem.

Just done this with my LT46 W Reg.

Bought a written of sprinter 310 and transplanted the engine and wiring harness.

Working a treat now.

Hope you get yours sorted.
