I have got a Audi A4 Avant 2.8 quattro Estate (V Reg) that has got the built in navigation plus system with TV tuner. As a standard safety feature the tv switches off whilst the car is in motion. However if a passenger wants to watch the TV they are unable to. Is there any way of overriding this feature so that TV does not switch off when the car is in motion?

is the sort of thing you are after.

The only other way is to disable the speed pulse input on to the navi unit but thats not very clever if you then want to navigate anywhere . . .:confused:

Also there could be a cable running to your handbrake tellin the tv tuner to turn off when then the handbrake isn't on. Disconnect this and it should work.
