Firstly can anyone tell me if an RS4 front bumper will fit on my A4 B6 3.0 Avant?
If so, can anyone tell me where to get one?
I am a newby and bought the car today, just want a few changes to get it the way I want it.
Many thanks

Nick

an S4 bumper would fit, but as the RS4 is B7 the bumper wont fit on the B6, the front end , wings, headlights etc are all different.

There are soem aftermarket 'rs4' frotn bumpers made for B6 A4`s but the quality is usualy poor.

Have a look at reiger or ABT front splitters, these might be a better idea.

i no of someone with a rs4 bumper.. i'll get onto it for you.. but in my opinion as i was going to do the same.. a rs4 bumper will be ott unless you get door blades side skirts or rear bumper. as it sits so low to the ground...

i oppted for the reiger bumper.. still low. but rather than new side skirts as im on a budget. i jus sprayed the ones i got. so as it follows the lines a bit better.. s4 door blades for stance ( not got yet ) and code rear valence.. this will make the rest of the car look lower than it actually is..

Thanks dub love!
Your car looks good. Can you add some front and back shots of the bumpers so I can see the whole thing. I need some inspiration for the bumpers.
I'll take you advice and not go for the RS4. I need to see yours to see if they are the ones I'm going to go for.
Thanks again for the advice.
Where you from?

Ive taken a similar aproach to dub love, but gone for the ABT front splitter instead of the reiger,

I like both splitters, mine has more of a DTM / touring car style I think.

I havent gone for S4 blades, ive just colour coded all my lowers.

I keep toping with the idea of slamming it on coilovers as well, but Im worried ile make it to uncomfortable asits my daily driver.

My front splitter was from Audi in Stafford.

It cost me £250 for cash i think (they wanted £300 originaly) then I had to get it painted and fitted.

If you meant other parts, let me know.

Liking your car Dub Love, especialy in Front Pic 3 , looks nice.

I think if i were to go for the dub look idve started on a Passat, your audi is nice though, just not a very dub looking base car imo.

Gerrymouse, car looks good slammed, and i like the vortex kit, hows the ride though ? i bet you can feel every hole and bump in the road ? thats what puts me off doing the same.

TheChippy - you made any descisions yet ? got any pics of your car as it is now ?

a PASSAT!! no mate, im not a skipper.. when i get the door blades and tint the windows.. it'll be almost there...

gerrymouse really like your car.. id have an estate all day.. i think you should take off your A4 and TD1 badges at the back though.. leave the audi one.. :biglaugh:

Its a little bumpy but I dont mind that considering it looks exactly as I wanted it too.

Wouldnt mind taking off the A4 and TDI badges but I am afraid of the paint being slittly a diferent colour. Wouldnt like very nice.

Thanks for you comments on the Wagon though!!

your paint looks well looked after, not faded, i reccon it would be fine, and if there was a slight differance, you can fix it with a bit of t-cut then polish.

Worst case scenario stick the badges back on.

I'll sort some pics out after the weekend, I'm away on the Cannonball 8000 uk run this weekend!
All your motors look really good. I can't do exactly what I want as I got the avant for my missus. She don't want it lowered for a start, but new rims and front front bumper, possibly more. Getting some 19" RS4's, but with a woman driving, they'll be f***ed in a couple of days!!!!!

If its a new car for her get some training wheels on for a month or so. A set of 16" with nice really chunky tryes so the kerbs dont mash them 19's. The car will sit very high with the 19's and not lowered. Stick a set of small lowering springs in and say nothing. She wont be able to tell!!

:biglaugh:

I may give the badges a run this weekend. I will throw some pics up when done!!

My avant sport was sitting on standard sport springs and was sitting like this:

That is I believe 30mm lower than a non sport standard. This could be one of your options as it drives well and your wife wont feel every bump and pothole.

Just to see the difference in mine now heres how it is now.
