Front and rear mudflaps are not fitted as standard on the new A4, the dealer has quoted me £170 to fit them. At the moment I'm swaying towards not having mudflaps fitted. Out of interest, what have other new A4 owners done (or going to do) - mudflaps or no mudflaps?

I didn't bother. On previous cars they fell off after a couple of years anyway. Heavy flooding (which we seem to have had more of:mad:) seems to take its toll.

I agree with all of the other messages, I have always fitted mudflaps to my cars but the B8 looks awful with them on - they can't have been designed for the car as they are ugly!!!!!

I agree and didn't get mudflaps fitted, it looks better without them.

no mud flaps on mine. May be if your over 50 years old you would order them!

I have to be part of the 'anti-Mud Flap camp' - I really do not see what the point is for everyday driving. Of cars that I have seen with them on, they still get splashes of mud up he side of the doors, they seem not to reduce spray and far more important on a cosmetic front with the new A4 being a curvy, yet aggressive and mean looking car, mud flaps just takes away from all of that and distracts from the sexy alloy's from the side. :drive:

I didn't have them on the previous A4 and I haven't got them on the new one.

the one i drove was a 2.0 tdi SE in Meteor Grey or lava grey not sure which , six spoke alloys, beige sports seats and servotronic. Looked nice....apart from the ruddy mudflaps

they had 2 of them at the time
