Problem: Slow to achieve normal temperature and even if it does then the temp can drop back considerably at high speed in the current cold weather. At low speeds the gauge is spot on.
Normally I'd guess a change of thermostat and a cooling system flush would sort it out but I've heard this engine has electronically controlled thermostats (plural).
Advice anyone? Are there really multiple thermos?
Electronic diagnostics were run recently for another problem and no fault was found.
