T4 turbo problem

Hi all, new user to the forum so a big hello !
My transporter T4 has started to kick black/grey smoke out at start up, discovered oil in the booster pipe coming from the turbo and entering the top of the engine. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and remedy.? Engine is the 1.9TD

If any one interested, the oil seal in the turbo had gone, got a repair done £761.23p Total cost.:zx11:
