Hello Everyone A newbie here,i hope im not repeating any other threads but i did try a search first, I THINK i have 2 problems i have a A4 Avant 1.9tdi 115 Which at best gives 42mpg and at worse 35mpg. I have owned 3 x a4 Avants and always got 40 to 50 mpg but this is the first 115bhp and i,m not impressed, Also when driving at a steady speed at about 2000rpm the engine misses momenterally, this does not cause a problem its just annoying as hell, anyone with simular problems??:zx11:

heya mate, welcome to the forum.

I have a 115 saloon, and i get similar rates, maybe a little higher. I think the 115 is just a little fuel heavy. god knows why!

as for juddering and missing, not sure, but there is an ECU software update out, do you know what the engine code is? If it is a BKE, get in touch with your local ******** and they'll tell you if it needs it. Best of all, its a recall so you get the work and the coffee for free!

Looking at my service book it is BRB?? I.ve had the car in several times for both faults they,ve tested it and say it tests ok. On the computor trip it says im getting 43mpg but i,ve been brimming it for the last 4 month and i,m averaging 37.5 (not quite the combined 58.9)that
