How many types of gear stick are available for the A4?
I'm unsure which type of gear stick my A4 Avant will arrive with. I've seen the S-Line one and there's the Audi exclusive in aluminium. I was sitting in an Avant on Saturday and the gear stick was pretty nice (looked and felt like leather with aluminium look on the front) and hoping it's the one I get. It wasn't the S-Line stick as I know what that one looks like.

I've seen another one that look a bit basic like this one here and the one I saw in the Avant looked much nicer that this :

Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Found a pic of the gear stick I was talking about:

I've taken a 3 spoke leather sports steering wheel with multifunction. I didn't find any way to specify with gear stick to take except the exclusive alluminium one. So which one am I going to get with my Avant?

Hello! Just to say that my UK S-Line saloon has the middle one of the 3 gear levers, not the bottom one......

Do you have the interior and exterior S-Line packs?

Found a pic of what you are talking about, steve1234. Why is there so much variation in the looks? :

It's a UK S-Line which includes both interior and exterior package as standard. Mine has the silver stitching that is a no cost option. Audi always seem to make things complicated!!!!! The bottom picture I think is a pre-launch car and little things in them always seem to change.

The S-Line gearknob and steering wheel that I have are very nice though. Definitely an improvement over the SE although it's all personal.

Another thing the S-Line gear stick has is that it's perforated leather as opposed to smooth leather on the other one I've seen. The one I saw looked like yours but it wasn't perforated leather. Same for the steering wheel. I'm hoping the gear stick I like comes with the sports leather steering wheel. I'll be on tender hooks on collection day LOL
