Hummmmmmmmmm???

hi all , its me again , my golf 1994 mk3 is making a terrible humming noise while running it increases as the speed increase till it is very loud what is this??:1zhelp:

Could be the bearings on the wheels. Thats what mine was, had to get the hub replaced. Do the wheels move mush when you push them. If they do get it checked asap so they don't fall off!!

Also to check if its the wheel bearings, you may notice a slight relapse in the noise level when going one way or t'other as the bearings get loaded on cornering...

I have a slight humming from the rear when I turn right, I assume if it's a wheel bearing, it'd be the right rear since that'd be the side that's loaded?

Yup, sound like a wheel bearing. Had mine replaced a few days ago... hummmmmm gone:D
